Patagonia Women’s Long-Sleeved Runshade Shirt

Decked out in my cute new, light weight and very breathable Patagonia Long-Sleeved Runshade.

Another item I roadtested down in Smith Rock this weekend was Patagonia’s women’s Long-Sleeved Runshade Shirt.  I love the cut of Patagonia’s shirts, athletic fitting without being too tight or restricting.  The full length arms were plenty long enough without being too long, the shoulders were not to tight or too wide.  Overall it fit beautiful and comes in a gorgeous turquoise color.  The color design and the mix of turquoise and lighter blue make the shirt interesting and fun.  (Yes, a girl moment – when I thought my new badass climbing shirt was pretty and cute.) The small, lower back pocket doesn’t interfere or get uncomfortable when wearing a harness. This shirt is designed for working up a sweat out in the unforgiving sun, with its spf 30 protection and great ventilation and wicking system I’m definitely planning to wear it during glacier travel.  I like the front zip feature which allowed for lots of ventilation while I was climbing the routes at Smith Rock, and when the wind picked up I could easily zip it up to cut momentary chill.  This piece of clothing performs great for athletic activities but can still satisfy for those girl moments with color, cut and design matter.
