My butt is officially on the internet and promoting Makalu Wear’s products.

Did a quick photo shoot for Makalu Wear with my climbing partner and incredible photographer extraordinaire friend Peter West Carey. I was sporting their soon to be released chalk bag. Makalu Wear makes organic shirts and, soon to come, chalk bags, with designs inspired by the Himalayas of Nepal. And if there fun, eco-friendly products are awesome enough, they also give back to the local community. A dollar of each t-shirt sold goes to supporting Room to Read.  And starting this summer they are kicking off the “Buy One. Give One” project.  Each purchase of one of their t-shirtsis matched by MakaluWear with a gift (warm fleece hoody or pair of shoes) of your choice to a child in the rural area surrounding Makalu-Barun National Park, Nepal.  It’s a win-win for all.  Get some sweet clothing or a chalk bag, help the environment and give back to local communities.
