Ibex Balance Runner Shorts, aka The Versatility Shorts

These shorts are whatever your whim wants them be.  They are the chameleon of baselayers, versatile beyond your wildest dreams.  It’s where innerwear meets outerwear.   One day they’d be up climbing Mt. Rainier with me as underwear under my softshell pants, the next day serving as my running shorts on a run through the city.  Ladies and, well ladies, that’s versatility!  And that’s why I think the name The Versatility Shorts may be more apt.  In addition to being so much more than a running short, the Balance Runner shorts are soft, and by soft I mean SOFT, so soft and comfy you’ll be excited to wear them sans underwear.  The shorts are constructed of 17.5 Merino wool with a sprinkle of nylon and dash of spandex to create the perfect fit that doesn’t stretch out, move around and hugs you in all the right places. And as part of the Balance line, they are seamless, adding to the comfort.  These shorts are also highly breathable, keeping you dry on hot days or during high exertion and odor-free.  The material is slightly thicker than other members of the Balance family, such as the underwear and bras, which makes these shorts easy to wear as outerwear.  These shorts will meet the challenge of wherever you want to take them – mountaineering, climbing, layering under outerwear in cold weather, hiking, backpacking, running, yoga, pilates, and now you can get creative and see where these shorts take you.
